Let's begin!
In Willow Grove, Halloween was more than just a holiday—it was a tradition.
Every year, the entire village came together for the Pumpkin Growing Contest, and this year, for the first time, Emma decided to join.
She planted her seed with care and watered it every day, just like her
grandmother had taught her.
At first, Emma’s pumpkin looked
normal, like all the others.
But soon, it began to grow faster than she had expected.
By the second week, it was bigger than any other pumpkin in the village. Her neighbours started to talk.
“That’s the biggest pumpkin I’ve ever
seen,” they whispered. Some even said it was too big, that something
strange was happening.
As Halloween approached, the pumpkin grew so large that it became the largest anyone had ever seen.
Emma noticed the air around her house was colder, even though it was still autumn.
Late at night, she heard soft whispers coming from the garden, but when she looked outside, no one was there. The animals in the village started to avoid her house, too.
One evening, as the full moon shone brightly in the sky, Emma walked outside and saw something unbelievable.
Her pumpkin was glowing a deep orange and... a small door had appeared on its side!
Trembling with fear and excitement, Emma opened the door and stepped inside.
The inside of the pumpkin was much bigger than the outside. It was like entering a hidden world, full of swirling colors and strange sounds.
At the centre, a glowing figure appeared and spoke to Emma: “You’ve unlocked the secret of the Golden Pumpkin.
But beware—only those who understand the true meaning of magic can control it. What will you do with your power?”
Emma was speechless.
The figure vanished, leaving Emma with a decision that would change the future of Halloween in Willow Grove forever.
Emma hesitated at the small door, her heart pounding with excitement.
Taking a deep breath, she stepped through, expecting to find a tiny room.
Instead, she emerged into a vast, enchanted garden filled with glowing pumpkins of all sizes.
A soft voice spoke from the shadows: “Welcome, Emma. You have been chosen as the new Guardian of the Pumpkin Patch.”
The voice belonged to a glowing figure made entirely of light. It explained that the pumpkin Emma had grown was no ordinary one.
It was the key to a magical realm, where a guardian was needed to keep the balance between the human world and the world of enchanted pumpkins.
Emma realised that by growing the largest pumpkin, she had proven herself worthy of this important role.
The figure handed her a glowing lantern, and with a smile,
Emma accepted her new responsibility.
She would spend
her days tending to the magical pumpkins and protecting
their secrets.
As she walked through the garden, the pumpkins whispered her name, acknowledging their new guardian.
From that day forward, Emma’s life was filled with magic and wonder. The townspeople never knew the real reason why Emma’s pumpkins were always the best at the harvest festival, but they could sense that something special was always hidden in her garden.
