1. How you can study & organise new English vocabulary
Keep a vocabulary notebook. Divide your vocabulary words into different sections. e.g. travel, food, health & beauty etc.
Always use a good learner's dictionary to help you.
You may want to include the word class when noting a new word. Words can have different meanings and can be used in different ways.
Learn new vocabulary in phrases not just the word. Go through the example sentences for the word.
For example, let's look at the word 'wrinkle'.
Meaning: 'Wrinkle' = small lines on skin (e.g. face, neck) or cloth (e.g. shirt, long pants etc.)
Note the different word class:
e.g.
-wrinkle (noun),
-wrinkled (adjective)
-wrinkle (verb)
Example Sentence:
i) My grandma has wrinkles around her eyes. (noun - countable)
ii) Honey, please help me iron out the wrinkles in my shirt. (noun - countable)
iii) Fold your T-shirt neatly. You don't want it to wrinkle. (verb)
iv) The elderly man has a wrinkled face. (adjective)

3. Reading - 5 Anti-Ageing Habits You Can Start Now
Most of us don't think much about anti-ageing until we started noticing lines, wrinkles, and other signs of ageing.
But whether you are a woman in your mid-20s or a man in your late 50s, it is never too early to start with anti-ageing habits and routines.
We are not trying to stop signs of ageing, but just having a more natural and organic approach to the ageing:
1. Take Good Care of Your Skin
2. Make a Habit of Using SPF Every Single Day
3. Add Exercise to Your Daily Routine
4. Make Sleep a Priority
5. Apply Eye and Hand Cream Before Bed
1. Take Good Care of Your Skin
Make this a priority, an essential part of your daily self-care routine. Think of it beyond just normal hygiene, and a type of self-care, something you do because you have compassion for yourself.
When it comes to your skin, we aren't just talking about your face, though that is really important as well.
Don't forget to take good care of your body as well!
Always apply body lotion after a shower as this can help to keep your skin moisturised and smooth.
If you have any chronic skin conditions, see a dermatologist for advice on the best products to use.
2. Use SPF Every Single Day
In addition to your regular skincare products, you also want to use SPF every day.
The sun's UV rays can do lasting damage to your skin, causing premature ageing. This includes lines and wrinkles, causing dark spots and hyperpigmentation, as well as changes in texture of the skin.
Remember that you need to use sunscreen everywhere on your body that could be exposed to the sun.
Your face is likely the most prone to sun damage, but so is your neck and chest, arms, hands, and feet if you are wearing sandals.
You also want to use a lip balm with SPF in it since you won't apply regular sunscreen to your lips.
3. Exercise As Part of Your Daily Routine
Anti-ageing isn't just about your skin! You also want to move your body on a regular basis.
Exercise provides so many benefits for you as you age.
This helps you keep up your strength and balance, boost energy, reducing the effects of obesity, and improving your cardiovascular health.
You will start to feel so much more energetic and useful when you have a regular exercise routine.
This means being physically active every day, or a least several days a week.
It doesn't need to be a strenuous workout either; just going for a walk, doing yoga, or taking a fitness class is more than enough for anti-ageing purposes.
4. Make Sleep a Priority
Getting good sleep is an important habit for anti-ageing. Start making this habit a priority right now.
You lead a busy life. But do adjust your schedule to improve your sleep.
With proper sleep, you can reduce inflammation in the body.
Avoid those puffy eyes in the morning, and reduce stress levels. As you know, stress can lead to premature ageing as well, so you want to keep stress levels low.
Remember that even if you feel like you are sleeping for 7-8 hours a night, it might not be the best quality sleep.
If you constantly wake up tired no matter how long you were in bed for, it could be due to constant distractions or not reaching a deep sleep.
If you sleep with the TV on or you know your phone goes off multiple times a night, you might want to make adjustments to some things in your sleeping environment.
5. Apply Eye and Hand Cream Before Bed
Don't overlook the importance of cream on both your eyes and hands.
Our hands will start showing ageing earlier than you might think, though at the beginning they aren't that obvious.
However, if you make a habit of not only using lotion and moisturiser every day, but applying a high-quality hand cream at night before bed, you can reduce these effects.
You also want to use eye cream during your nighttime skincare routine for anti-ageing.
Eye cream is going to help reduce the lines and wrinkles, and thinner skin you tend to get around your eyes.
When applying eye cream, use your ring finger as it will be the most gentle on this delicate skin.
Never rub cream on your under eyes, but instead dab it gently until it is blended in.
If you are using eye cream in the morning before applying other products, let it sit for a few minutes before putting other skincare products or makeup over it.
